The best startups will pitch their solution beginning of 2021 in front of the VivaTech Team, the PublicisLive team and VivaTech top partners. Winners will be selected to think about the best way to implement their solution in the next VivaTech edition.

Towards a hybrid event committed to Tech for Good
For the hybrid event:
- Propose multi-criteria solutions to measure/monitor VivaTech's global footprint (e.g. real-time visualization of consumption and flows, carbon calculator, etc.)
- Neutralize VivaTech's carbon impact
- Raise awareness and engage all stakeholders in VivaTech's CSR approach
- Make conference rooms accessible to people with disabilities
- Offer adapted solutions for the reception, support and management of people with disabilities
For the in-person event:
- Propose new ecological materials (including scenography/construction, awards and badges)
- Propose end-of-life solutions and processes for these materials (donation, reuse, recycling)
- Manage wastes (including bio-waste and disposable masks)
- Remove plastic and other single-use waste limit energy consumption
- Limit water consumption, improve water quality
- Promote/optimize non-polluting transportation services
- Promote healthy and high-quality food (organic or labeled, local, seasonal, fair trade, based on production methods that respect the environment and decent working conditions ; with clear information for the consumer)
- Limit food waste
- Offer bio-sourced/recyclable or compostable food packaging (zero waste if possible)
For the digital event:
- Limit the environmental impact of VivaTech's digital plateform (e.g. optimization and reduction of video streams, etc.)
- Encourage all stakeholders to take up good practices in digital usage
- Help attendees to disconnect or become aware of their digital consumption (e.g. automatic notification every 2 hours to encourage a break, etc.)
- Improve the e-accessibility of VivaTech digital platform (e.g. subtitle automation, real-time multi-language translation, etc.)

Adapting to the current sanitary measures
- Anticipation and control of social distancing and/or other sanitary measures, such as wearing face masks
- Distribution of anti-bacterial supplies
- Visitor control at the event entrance (temperature check, quick covid tests)
- Regular cleaning and disinfection of surfaces and spaces in a simple, fast, efficient and cost-effective way
- Reception, flow / management of waiting times
Catering
- Varied food offers, adapted to the different needs of visitors, with a positive impact approach (low carbon impact, vegetarian/vegan diets, anti-waste, employment of disabled people, etc.)
- Fast and simple dematerialized payment solution
Security
- Cybersecurity (platforms, web app, phone app, pass allocation)
- Physical security in the event hall
- Personal safety (fighting against disrespectful behaviour, harassment, threats, deliberate intimidation or any other form of discrimination)
