About Viva Technology
VivaTech is Europe's biggest startup and tech event. Co-organized by Publicis Groupe and Groupe Les Echos and dedicated to the growth of startups, digital transformation and innovation, the 5th edition will take place on June 16-19, 2021.
In 2019, the event reached 231 million people worldwide, bringing together 124,000 visitors including more than 13,000 startups, 3,000 venture capital firms and 2,500 journalists from 124 countries. This year, VivaTech will provide a hybrid experience, in person in Paris and online worldwide, that will bring together an even larger community of innovators.

In a digital, AI, data-driven world of work, how can we combine leading-edge technologies and customers experience best practices to unlock candidates full career potential and bring high value for organizations?
To tackle this challenge, we pursue start-ups solutions able to cover at least one of these disruptive areas :
ManpowerGroup's mission is to offer candidates end-to-end solutions for navigating through their career journeys : a digital assessment, matching, and pathing platform that leverages the best of customer experience, AI and machine learning solutions to think expansively about individual potential, combined with community connections and a dedicated Talent Agent to help navigate choices and challenges along the path.
The integration of third-party training providers allows candidates to pursue course work and certifications that help prepare them for their next role, as well as track their progress (and/or reassess their opportunities) from a single interface.
As the volume of candidates increases, the underlying assessment and matching capabilities improve, expanding the universe of potential candidates from those in more narrowly technical fields to those anticipating less linear, longer career transitions.
Many employers continue to experience persistent talent shortfalls—even in recessionary periods—reflecting a general market imbalance between the supply and availability of certain in-demand skills.
Current workforce development, bootcamp, and training programs are proving insufficient to close the gap (offering point solutions, rather than addressing the longer journey), especially as demand for those skills continues to rise.
Employers look to Manpower’s “building the bridge” graduates as their primary talent pipeline for these hard-to-fill roles, and partner with Manpower to inform the training curricula and assessment methodology to better identify and develop candidates.
Employers with a large outplacement population also come to Manpower to leverage the “building the bridge” methodology and third-party credibility to help exiting talent develop the skills and access the intermediary roles necessary to transition to new opportunities
